Trip to HK Disneyland - 3/28/10 to 3/31/10

Well, we're back. It was fun and I think Steffi really enjoyed herself.

HIGHLIGHTS IN PICTURES

Waiting for the plane... (By the way, just in case you're interested you can click on the photographs to magnify them.)

Settling in at the Disney's Hollywood Hotel. Steffi: "Sofitel is still the best hotel ever." Aba, medyo nilait pa!

Unbridled joy. We are really here! Finally, finally...

Over two full days, we enjoyed many rides and attractions; and made many new friends:

So never let it be said that I am a bad father. Hahahahahahahahahahaha

This last picture, taken near Cinderella's Carousel, deserves, I think, a place all its own:

  1. These are heartwarming pictures. They brought me much joy and I've looked at them so many times. Tokyo, Los Angeles, Orlando, and then Paris would be a good roadmap for follow-up journeys. I hope to join you some time.

  2. These are moving notes. Thanks for sharing. I believe with all my heart that things will change for the better. This is a very special time in your life, a time for you to enjoy Steffi and Kathy. Don't be too hard on yourself. Keep the faith.

  3. My main man, you're right, as long as you're with your family everything seems to be fine. We just have to cherish every moment we spend with our loved ones specially the time we spend with our kid/s. They grow up so fast that one day they don't want us to be with them anymore.:) You're a great DAD!! Salute!!

  4. I just don't understand how you became a picture and video taking junkie all of a sudden. From someone who told me that he isn't into pictures you're certainly taking a lot of both now. :)

That's what children do to you.

Life should be about smelling the roses. I'm happy for Steffi, Kath and you.

  5. In all seriousness man, I really feel that 31 pictures on a four-day trip to Hong Kong does not a picture-taking junkie make.

There were these two guys in front of us on the boat in "It's a Small World" and they must have taken more than 31 shots during that one ride alone. After four days, they must have gone home with more than 300 shots, easy.

That said, I do acknowledge one behavioral change that has come over me, the desire to share or display pictures of Steffi.

Yes, I guess that's what children do to you.

  6. Protest: Tokyo Disneyland is too far out on the road map. Annual goals, please.

  9. Hello Sir Sol, how are you doing nowadays?...i found your story very inspiring. I was diagnosed with 3.1 x 2.6 x 2.4 AN last December 31 only. Had a consultation with the doctors in CSMC. I'm trying to find some Filipino patients who had the same case as mine. I hope it's not too much to ask of you if the GK treatment gave you a success rate of AN shrinkage. Thank you in advance -dubai ofw (yvt)
